Tell us a little about yourself- I live in Michigan and I am a mother of two and I work full time outside of our home. Stamping and card making are my stress relief! I have a bit of an addiction problem when it comes to crafting and I love-love-love to organize!

When/why did you start scrap booking?-I started scrap booking when my daughter was born with the influence of my sister-in-law. It wasn't until 2006 that I got all caught up in it...which is when we went on our first Disney vacation! I recently found a new passion with card making!

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting?
-I would have to go with chalking/inking edges

What is your favorite product for paper crafting?
-My Cricut Expression and the Design Studio is becoming a close second!

Meg

{Meg's BLOG}
Tell us a little about yourself-My name is Meg. I have a wonderful Husband Eric and a very active 3 year old son named Mason. I have always had a love for anything creative. I give my Mom full credit for my creativity. She is who taught me everything I know craft wise! When I am not scrap booking/card making, I do photography. I love capturing moments and preserving them on paper. I also love blogging! There is always something new posted on my blog! Basically as long as I am doing something creative, I am happy!

When/why did you start scrap booking? I started scrap booking when I was 12. My Mom and I went to a class to learn. I scrap booked on and off for a few years and then when my Son Mas was born I really started getting into it. In the last 3 years I have accumulated enough stuff to start up my own scrap book store! (as my Husband would say) I have already completed 3 scrap books for Mas and am working on his 4th. I have my wedding album up next so hopefully I will get that done sometime soon!

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting? I have several favorite techniques, but I would have to say my favorite one would be sewing. I love the look that it adds to my paper crafts. I also really like chalking and inking. I feel it adds such a professional/unique look. And I love stamping!

What is your favorite product for paper crafting? My favorite product would have to be anything by Bo-Bunny. I love their products. I love their paper, ribbon, buttons and everything else. And don't forget about Cricut! This product has changed my life!

Tell us a little about yourself

This year I will celebrate the 40th anniversary of my 20th birthday and enjoying life! I have been married to Bill for 37 years, have one son Beau (who just got out of the Marines) and teach for my LSS, For Keeps Sake Scrapbook in St. Louis MO. I begged to work for my LSS about 5 years ago and have loved every minute of it since. I'm lucky to be living my dream job.

When/why did you start scrap booking?
I made my first scrapbook when Bill and I were dating (waaaayyyyy back in the late 60's) and decorated it with photos, poems, music lyrics, crepe paper (remember those kind of scrapbooks!). But seriously got down to business when we adopted our son.

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting?
Inking anything. No wait. Stamping. Maybe I should say altered arts. Oh, this is too hard. Do I have to pick just one?

What is your favorite product for paper crafting?
Have to say the paper itself. I can't resist paper. It's an inspiraton. I collect it - and for no particular reason than the color or design of each piece.

Tamera

{Tamera's BLOG}
Tell us a little about yourself-Hi everyone! I am Tamera (rhymes with camera) Sheaffer, but everyone called me Tam. I am an almost 40 year old kid who is completely head over heels for a guy named Chris, an Executive Assistant by day and a lion tamer by night...okay, I am a kitten tamer, but there's three of them...that's pretty close to a lion...

I have been told by many that I am different, disturbed, touched, crazy, hilarious, weird, geeky, silly, loud, annoying and my most favorite....dorky!

I make fun of myself any chance I get, since I am a firm believer that if you can laugh at yourself, then you can't laugh at anyone else. And lets face it, there are so many people in this world that are just begging to be laughed at and I would be their leader.

My hobbies, okay, my obsessions are scrap booking, reading, and trying ever so desperately to learn all of that cool geeky computer stuff. I love taking pictures, but I am really not that good. That is why I have a friend who is an awesome photographer!

My husband and I share a 105 year old house with 1 very cranky fat cat, three very electrified kittens and two dogs. All of which are convinced that they run the show and we are just here for their amusement.

When/why did you start scrap booking?
I have been paper crafting/scrap booking since as long as I can remember. I joined my very first kit club in 2006 and was completely hooked on this new fangled way of scrap booking. I have loads and loads of pictures and memorabilia that have found there way on my pages. Trust me, I still have loads and loads that still needs to be scrapped. Here lately, I have been making cards and have really gotten into stamping.

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting?
My all time favorite technique for my scrap booking pages is doodling! I have a serious collection of sharpie and Prisma markers and would be lost without them! My favorite technique for my cards is machine stitching. I am still a novice at that, but my sewing machine is definitely getting a work out these days!!!!! I just purchased a Cuttlebug a month or so ago, replacing my Revolution and I have been over the moon with Embossing folders and Spellbinder Die Cuts!!! Yummy!!!

What is your favorite product for paper crafting?
My favorite product for paper crafting is kraft paper and chipboard! Honestly, you can NEVER have enough chipboard!

Tell us a little about yourself-Hi! I'm Jessica Stott. My husband and I live with our two kiddos - Andrew, 10 - and Sophia, 6 - with our three dogs in a small town in the heart of western Colorado. I work full time as a customer relations manager and write a monthly humor column. I enjoy watching movies and cooking and I love reading. When I'm not working, taking care of the kiddos or scrapping, I usually have my nose stuck in a book. Currently I'm obsessed with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer - I've read the series twice in the last few months. I have a huge family - I'm the oldest of seven children and an auntie to two. My family and friends are important to me and I love being surrounded by people I love and who make me laugh.

When/why did you start scrap booking?-I began scrapping way back in high school, when my step-mom gave me a bunch of fun scrap booking goodies for Christmas. I really got into it after my son was born. I wanted to capture our family's memories in a unique and special way that gives them a tangible reminder of how much I love them.

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting?-My current favorite technique is "popping" my accents. I love the dimension that's created by adding pop dots behind key accent elements on my pages and cards.

What is your favorite product for paper crafting?-My current favorite product are American Crafts Thickers. I love the huge font and texture variety of these alphabet stickers and how there's something for every layout or project I need.

Tell us a little about yourself-I am a stay-at-home mom of two children. I love paper crafting, knitting, cooking, and watching The Office. I also have a slight obsession about weddings :) I love my church and volunteer with the middle school youth group twice a week.

When/why did you start scrap booking?
I used to cut out pictures from magazines and paste them in a book when I was about 9, but I started scrap booking photos in middle school about 14 years ago. My mom picked it up as a way to showcase our family reunion pictures and I got hooked. Since then I also picked up card making and have tried my hand at home decor. I merged my obsession with weddings to scrap booking and started doing wedding albums and invitations too.

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting?
Definitely heat embossing. Usually this is with stamped images, but I also like to use an edging effect on papers and even photos to give the layers a glossy mat.

What is your favorite product for paper crafting?
My Cricut would easily be one of my favorites. I use it for almost every project I do and I love to try to figure out new ways to use the designs. I also use my circle and scallop punch combination a lot and my Cuttlebug embossing folders.

Tell us a little about yourself -I am 28 years old and I have been married for just over a year to a wonderful man named Jason. We have a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer that we rescued last year. Be prepared to see a lot of layouts with him as the subject. I work at a university law library. Other than scrap booking I love to read, hike camp, do yoga, and I am an aspiring runner.

When/why did you start scrap booking? I started scrap booking when I was 17. My sister had just given birth to my first nephew and was going to start scrapping. I was always one of those kids that was endlessly happy with construction paper, glue and scissors. I went with my sister to the local scrap booking store and decided it looked fun so I bought a few things. I scrap booked on and off since then. About a year ago I started to really get into it when I finally had a dedicated scrapping space. Being able to walk away in the middle of a layout or project really helped me feel able to dedicate more time to it.

What is your favorite technique for paper crafting? That's a tough one. There are so many great techniques. I really enjoy inking and distressing. I probably do that the most.

What is your favorite product for paper crafting?
I LOVE Basic Grey paper! I am so addicted to their paper Whenever I go shopping for paper I almost always get one of their paper packs.
